Austin Henry Richards is a designer and researcher based in Southern California. He is interested in collective housing, alternative development, and regenerative practices. He graduated with honors from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a Bachelor of Architecture.

He has collaborated with award-winning architectural practices in Los Angeles, including Chet Architecture, Michael Maltzan Architecture, and Practice. In 2023, with support from l’Académie d’Architecture he researched collective living as the architect-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. His residency culminated in the project and exhibition, Living Together.

He is a designer at Practice and concurrently open to opportunities.
